Bobb Jacobs, the founder of Jacobs Proformance Engines, is a certified machinist who earned his degree at Eastland Vocational Trade School in Columbus, Ohio, in the last two years of his high school education.  Since then, his impressive list of abilities has developed by rebuilding precision measuring instruments for several companies.  Bobb worked at a mass production machine shop for many years, then went on to be an engine machinist and mechanic for a large tractor and equipment sales company.  Just before launching his own company, Bobb worked with a large construction company here in Ohio as a gas and diesel engine rebuilder and fabricator for large construction equipment and a fleet of construction and office vehicles.  

In his off-time, many of his friends and family would seek out his abilities for building engines and chassis for Chevy, Ford, and Dodge.  Those who knew Bobb came to him because they knew exactly what they would be getting--a precision job on performance engines and chassis modifications that outclass and outlast the local machine shops'.  These were the events that eventually brought Bobb to the realization that Jacobs Proformance Engines must become a reality!
